The program usually requires 3 to 4 years to complete all course work and an additional 1-2 years to fully develop the culminating portfolio and the teaching practicum.
The 2025 Dunham Teacher Certification in-person Workshop opens on Sunday, July 13th, with a Dunham Technique master dance class. The master class (included in the price of the Teacher Certification Workshop) and the Opening Ceremony bring the group together in preparation for embarking on a week of high-intensity focus on Dunham Technique. During the Workshop, we work on embodiment of the technique as well as the history, theory, philosophy and pedagogy. The workshop ends the following Saturday July 19th.
