Oluyinka Akinjiola

Oluyinka Akinjiola is a Nigerian-American dancer, choreographer, Assistant Professor of Dance, and founder of Rejoice! Diaspora Dance Theater.

Her work blends African and Afro-Diasporic movement traditions with Black contemporary dance, centering rhythm, joy, and social justice. Her choreography has been featured nationally and internationally, supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Oregon Community Foundation’s Creative Heights Award.
